We use your personal data so that we can:
- provide the service that you have requested;
- process your application for a Household Support Fund payment; and
- contact you in case of another query or an issue concerning the service you have requested or regarding your application
The lawful basis for processing your personal data is for the performance of a public task.
We will hold your data for the purposes stated above for two years after your request has been completed. However, if you have applied for a Household Support Fund payment, we will hold your data for seven years from the date your application was closed.
We will share your information with Citizens Advice Teignbridge who will be processing applications on behalf of Teignbridge District Council.
Teignbridge District Council and Citizens Advice Teignbridge may share your personal data with other council services, other local authorities and voluntary sector groups to deliver the services requested. Also, with government organisations including the Department for Work and Pensions, to check the information provided and analyse your application, as well as to monitor the fund project for audit purposes.
We will not disclose any personal information to any other third parties unless required to do so by law.
